In 2022, 3sixty along with residents and friends of the Eastcore neighborhood responded to the community's desire to see improvements to the neighborhood that celebrated what Eastcore is today, rewriting the story of how it is perceived. The Tulip City Walls inaugural festival aimed to add more color and beauty as a pilot to add "proof of concept".
The response to the 2022 festival was overwhelmingly in favor of building an annual festival over several years. With the support and partnership of Clay McAndrews of Jackson, MI (co-executive director of Bright Walls), the committee aims to brings this festival to life and anticipates an installment of 5-8 murals around the Columbia Avenue and 19th Street intersection for the 2023 festival.
